Terms of Service
01 Acceptance and effect of these terms
Welcome to yue.lat (the "Service"). By registering an account, purchasing a subscription or using any feature of the Service, you are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service and by the Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with any clause, stop using the Service immediately. This agreement applies to all current and future feature updates.
02 Account eligibility and security
- Age requirement: you must be at least 18 years old, or have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
- Genuine registration: your registration email must be real and working. It is the only credential for after-sales support and account recovery.
- No sharing: an account is for its owner only. Transferring, renting, sharing or reselling an account or a subscription link is strictly prohibited.
- Device limit: every account has a limit on the number of devices online at the same time (depending on the plan). If the system detects abnormal multi-device concurrency — for example a large number of IP switches in a short window — it raises an alert and may automatically reset the online state or suspend the account.
- Credential security: your subscription link is a sensitive credential. Keep it safe. Losses caused by your own disclosure of it are yours to bear.
03 Subscriptions and billing
- Plan types: plans are either recurring plans (monthly / quarterly / yearly) or one-time data packs. The price shown on the payment page at the time of purchase governs.
- No automatic charges: we do not store your full payment credentials and we never auto-renew or auto-charge. You must renew manually before expiry; once a plan lapses, service is suspended immediately.
- How data is counted: plan data is measured as actually transferred volume (upload + download). Recurring plans reset the data allowance at the start of each billing cycle.
- No carry-over: unused data, time or bonus allowance is cleared automatically at the end of the cycle and does not carry into the next one.
- Price changes: prices may change with market conditions, and we will announce a change before it takes effect. Plans already purchased are not affected by a price change.
The boundaries of refunds and compensation are governed by the Refund Policy page. An order that has been performed normally is not refunded in cash for a mistaken purchase, for no longer wanting the service, or because of a preference about the experience.
04 Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
You undertake to use the Service lawfully. Prohibited conduct falls into two tiers, and the tier and the handling of each behaviour are governed by the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP); these Terms do not add any penalty beyond the AUP.
A. Prohibited conduct — immediate permanent suspension, with no refund:
- Illegal or criminal activity — using the Service for anything that breaks applicable law, including but not limited to fraud, phishing, distributing malware, child sexual abuse material and terrorist propaganda.
- Network attacks — including DDoS, port scanning, exploitation of vulnerabilities, brute-forcing, SQL injection and CC attacks.
- Secondary proxying / resale — using our nodes as an upstream to build a second-tier proxy or VPN service, or reselling bandwidth in any form.
- Account trading — renting, selling, sharing or publicly distributing accounts or subscription links.
- Cryptocurrency mining — connecting to mining pools through a node, or mining in any form.
- Large-scale data scraping — running large-scale crawling or data scraping through a node (including for AI model training) such that the upstream IP is flagged for abuse.
B. Restricted conduct — a warning first; only repeated violations lead to suspension or termination of service:
- BT / P2P downloading — including BitTorrent, magnet links, eMule and the like. This traffic is already blocked automatically at the protocol layer.
- Spam email — using a node to send bulk commercial, junk or phishing email. The SMTP/POP3/IMAP ports are already closed.
- Speed-test abuse — running high-volume speed tests frequently (Speedtest, Fast.com and similar). Occasional testing is fine.
- Remote desktop tunnelling — relaying TeamViewer, RustDesk, ToDesk, Sunlogin, Parsec and similar remote-control traffic through a node.
- Subscription conversion — submitting your subscription link to a third-party subscription converter / SubConverter service (this carries a disclosure risk).
- Bandwidth abuse — occupying bandwidth at full rate 24/7 over a long period (fair use).
Every node runs automated audit rules. Most of the traffic above is blocked or rate-limited automatically, with no human involvement — and being blocked is not the same as your account being penalised. See "Auditing and blocking rules" below and the AUP.
05 Auditing and blocking rules
We run a multi-layer automated audit system on every node. Traffic in the following categories is blocked automatically:
Protocol and port blocks
Blocked domain / IP categories
Audit rules are updated continuously as needed, without separate notice. Blocked traffic is not billed against your data allowance. If you believe something legitimate was blocked in error, report it through a ticket.
06 Network quality and fair use
- Best effort: we work to keep availability high, but given the complexity of the international network environment (submarine cable faults, upstream volatility, policy interference) we do not guarantee 100% uninterrupted service or freedom from latency.
- Shared bandwidth: all nodes run on shared bandwidth. We do not offer a dedicated-bandwidth guarantee.
- Fair use: for users who occupy extremely high bandwidth over a long period (for example downloading at full rate 24/7), the system may apply a temporary rate limit to protect the experience of everyone else.
- Node changes: we may adjust, replace or retire specific nodes as network conditions require, without notifying each user individually.
- Dynamic IPs: nodes in some regions (such as Hong Kong and Taiwan) use dynamic IPs. When the IP changes there may be a very brief interruption (around 30 seconds). This is normal.
- Maintenance notices: planned maintenance is announced in advance on our Telegram channel. For a long outage caused by force majeure, we may at our discretion compensate the affected subscription time.
07 Value-added services
Yue Video (streaming)
We include the Yue Video streaming service as value-added content with a subscription plan. Yue Video carries no independent SLA, and we make no commitment about a particular title or an update cadence in the library. We reserve the right to adjust the library at any time.
Check-ins and interactive rewards
Data or balance rewards earned from daily check-ins, lucky draws and similar activities are gifts and do not constitute a service commitment. We reserve the right to adjust the reward rules.
Telegram bot
The Telegram bot offers account linking, check-in, data queries and similar functions. It is provided as an auxiliary tool with no guarantee of continuous availability.
08 Privacy and data
We follow the principle of data minimisation. For the full policy see the Privacy Policy page. In brief:
- We collect: your registration email, a password hash (irreversible), transaction reference numbers (for reconciliation) and total data volume (for billing).
- We do not collect: the specific sites you visit, your DNS queries, your browsing history or the content you transmit. We never log them.
- Server monitoring data (CPU / memory / disk / network interface throughput) is used for operations monitoring only and is cleared automatically on a schedule.
09 Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- The Service is provided "as is", without any warranty, express or implied.
- We are not responsible for any third-party content you reach through the Service.
- Any legal consequence or loss arising from your own conduct — including breach of these Terms, or connection problems caused by your local ISP environment — is yours to bear.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages (including lost profits, data loss or business interruption).
- Our maximum aggregate liability does not exceed the service fees you actually paid for the one billing cycle preceding the relevant event.
10 Changes to and termination of the Service
- We reserve the right to modify the Service, its features and these Terms at any time. Material changes are announced 7 days in advance on the website or on our Telegram channel.
- Continuing to use the Service is deemed acceptance of the revised Terms.
- A user whose service is terminated for breaching these Terms has no right to a refund.
- You may stop using the Service at any time; unused plan time or data is not refunded automatically.
- These Terms and the Refund Policy do not exclude any consumer right that applicable law does not permit to be excluded by contract.
11 Intellectual property
- The yue.lat brand, interface design and documentation are protected by copyright. They may not be copied, modified or distributed without authorisation.
- No AI training: we expressly prohibit any entity from using automated programs (bots / spiders) to scrape the content of this website for training or fine-tuning large language models (LLMs).
- Open-source components used by the platform remain under their own licences.
12 Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the law of the place of registration of the entity providing the Service (excluding its conflict-of-laws rules). In the event of a dispute, the parties shall first seek an amicable settlement; failing that, the dispute shall be submitted to a court or arbitral institution with jurisdiction.
