Overview

This policy supplements the Terms of Service and sets out in detail how the yue.lat service may be used. Every user must comply with it.

Breaching this policy results in immediate suspension of the account with no refund. For serious breaches we reserve the right to pursue legal remedies.

Prohibited conduct Permanent suspension

The following conduct results in immediate permanent suspension of the account:

  1. Illegal or criminal activity — using the Service for anything that breaks the law, including but not limited to fraud, phishing, distributing malware, child sexual abuse material and terrorist propaganda.
  2. Network attacks — launching or taking part in DDoS attacks, port scanning, exploitation of vulnerabilities, brute-forcing, SQL injection, CC attacks and the like.
  3. Secondary proxying / resale — using our nodes as an upstream to build a second-tier proxy or VPN service, or reselling bandwidth in any form.
  4. Account trading — renting, selling, sharing or publicly distributing accounts or subscription links.
  5. Cryptocurrency mining — connecting to mining pools through a node, or mining cryptocurrency in any form.
  6. Large-scale data scraping — running large-scale crawling or data scraping through a node such that the upstream IP is flagged for abuse.

Restricted conduct Warning / suspension

The following conduct triggers a warning; repeated violations lead to suspension or termination of service:

  1. BT / P2P downloading — BitTorrent, magnet links, eMule and other P2P downloading are prohibited on all nodes. This traffic is already blocked automatically at the protocol layer.
  2. Spam email — using a node to send bulk email (commercial promotion, junk mail, phishing mail). The SMTP/POP3/IMAP ports are already closed.
  3. Speed-test abuse — frequent high-volume speed tests consume a lot of bandwidth and affect other users, so the relevant domains are restricted. Occasional testing is fine.
  4. Remote desktop tunnelling — relaying TeamViewer, RustDesk, ToDesk, Sunlogin, Parsec and similar remote-control traffic through a node.
  5. Subscription conversion — submitting your subscription link to a third-party subscription converter / SubConverter service. This exposes your subscription details.
  6. Bandwidth abuse — occupying bandwidth at full rate 24/7 over a long period (fair use).

Automatic blocking Silent block

The node audit rules block the following traffic categories silently and automatically. They are not billed against your data allowance and they do not generate a warning:

  • BT downloading / P2P / torrent sites
  • Cryptocurrency mining / mining pools
  • Spam email / mail ports
  • Network attack / scanning tools
  • Remote-control software tunnelling
  • Gambling / sports-betting sites
  • IP ranges belonging to certain regions
  • Private / reserved IP ranges
  • Protocol ports associated with abuse

For the full list of audit rules see Terms of Service — Auditing and blocking rules. The rules are updated continuously; if something legitimate is blocked in error, report it through a ticket.

Permitted use cases

The Service exists to accelerate the following lawful uses:

  • AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney and similar)
  • Streaming (Netflix, Disney+, YouTube and similar)
  • Cross-border work and collaboration (Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack and similar)
  • Social media (Twitter/X, Instagram, Telegram and similar)
  • Academic research and online learning
  • Running a cross-border e-commerce business
  • Ordinary web browsing and app usage
